As a further enhancement for country racing, we are pleased to announce the inaugural Country Racing Series for season 2017/18, a regional state-wide showcase of country racing. The first in this series is the Race to Roma! Heats will be contested at Barcaldine, Toowoomba, Central Warrego, Dalby, Barcoo and St George with the final being determined four weeks later at Roma on the 29th July 2017.
Julia Creek, a small Outback town in North Queensland, it's about as far into the middle of nowhere as you could get. It is home to blinding sunlight, harsh winds, a muddy creek, and just 400 thick-skinned locals.
