The Queensland Summer Racing Carnival offers 21 black type races and over 15 Million in Prize-money.
In July 2016, Racing Queensland (RQ) advised all Queensland Bookmakers of important changes to the Oncourse Fielding Incentive Scheme (OFIS). As of 1st July, 2016, Bookmakers are now required to submit their raceday hold information to the Race Club secretary/office who collate and send directly to Racing Queensland.
For the convenience of Bookmakers and Clubs, Racing Queensland have developed simple spreadsheets to record the information required.
Queensland Race Clubs are asked to compile the information provided by each bookmaker fielding at their race meeting and forward to the Club Liaison and Development team at RQ.
This data is then entered in order to calculate the percentage payment paid to both the Bookmaker and Club.
