RACE TWO

DOWN UNDER RORS (1) was 1^st up from a break last start and after stepping from the tapes made an error early and was then forced to work in the run. Taking strong benefit from the outing he can look to step straight to the front again and give them something to chase.

LAVROS SEGIL (11) started fav from a 30m tape at Redcliffe and after making up the deficit was charging in the closing stages to get within 3m of the winner LANSBURY. He took on open company last start and back to this grade will be hard to hold out.

ASTRAL RULER (12) has found some rhythm and has wins in 2 of his past 3 starts. Last start he was off the 50m tape and attacked the line strongly to arrive for the win. Despite the 30m he is in the mix.

HIGH CLOUD LASS (5) was buried away on the pegs last start and found the line nicely to be 10m from the winner ASTRAL RULER. 10m better off at the tapes here, she can roll forward and if able to dictate from the breeze can lay down the challenge.

RACE THREE

HOW WE ROLL (8) will need a slice of luck from this gate. In a wide open contest he can follow through at the start and sweating on the 1 holding up can land in striking position. With his runs spaced this prep has been waiting to land a good alley and with the last shot can arrive.

TORQUE FEELS GOOD (1) was good last start when working in the run and rolling forward before finishing 18m in arrears of SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW. From the ace gate she will have the options and with limited tempo can look to take control.

ALWAYS A JEWEL (4) was hitting the line strongly 2 starts back at Redcliffe and followed that with a stylish win when arriving wide off the track for a good win. She is right in the fight here.

ONYA DOUG (5) made the most of his gate at Redcliffe 3 starts back and led throughout to a 1.5m victory. 3^rd last start when buried away he can look to challenge.

RACE FOUR

HEZ RAZOR SHARP (3) was a winner at his Qld debut here 5 starts back when swooping home strongly to arrive for a head victory after starting from the 2^nd line. His runs in qualifiers in the 4 starts since have been good and not been beaten far. From gate 3 he looks to have the edge over these.

SMILING ARMADA (5) will strip fitter for his latest start when resuming from a break and starting for the Ron Wells barn for the 1^st time. Taken to the grass at Kilcoy 1st up, the effort was good and with good early speed can look to get forward early and he has claims in this field.

RED LUCK (8) will need a slice of luck from this gate and does have the option to get away from the pegs if need be. Only 7m from GET IN THE GROOVE 3 starts back he will be in the mix here.

DOOLITTLE DANDY (1) resumes from a break and has the perfect gate for a 1^st up run and can look to take the soft run and issue a closing challenge.

RACE FIVE

CHERISH THE MOMENT (9) resumed from a freshen here 10 days ago and from gate 5 went back to find position and her chances ended there with those at the front controlling the race. Facing tough gates at her previous 3 starts she land in a perfect position here and can turn things around.

BELLS BEACH HOUSE (3) will find this well below what he has been facing in recent starts. Last start he went to the front over the 2138m trip and through the 2^nd panel was setting a sizzling tempo which caught up with him. He can find the pegs here and controlling the tempo will be hard to stop.

LIKEALLOFUS (2) will strip fitter from 1 run back from a break where he was buried away and was hitting the line strongly to only be 5m from the winner BET IM SPECIAL. He is right in the fight.

YANKEE STRUTTER (6) stepped into the claiming racks here on Tues and was closing out well in a race where swoopers featured. He found the line strongly 2 starts back and can’t be ignored in this.

RACE SIX

BODHI TREE (7) has the wide gate to overcome but was back to his best last start and with the confidence of that can look to keep it rolling. He took them all the way last start over the 2138m trip which followed a luckless effort when charging late. With even luck he can knock them out again.

THE CHARGING MOA (1) will be 4^th up this prep and lands a vastly improved gate. Not beaten far after getting well back in the run at her past 3 when starting from gates 7, 11 and 11 she can look to make the most of the ace and a sharp improvement can be expected.

PSYCHEDELIC (4) was charging home late here on Tues but couldn’t reel in the winner that led all the way after he got too far back off gate 7. With the right run in transit he will be challenging late.

ZARAS DELIGHT (2) claimed the silver in a Rising Stars heat 2 starts back and in the final was too far back from gate 6 and was wide off the track. Settling closer to the speed here will suit.

RACE SEVEN

MOHEGAN SUN (1) has been thereabouts without landing a winning blow. Buried 3 back along the markers over the 2138m trip lasts start he found the line well when 3m from COMPLY OR DIE. He will get the perfect trip here and finding the passing lane with momentum will get his chance.

IMA MORVEN LAD (5) is working his way back into form after a long break and the latest run was his best since resuming. Finding the front before releasing he was2m from the winner after they only sprinted the last panel. He will be in the mix.

STIRLING WILLIAM (9) had his best gate for some time last start and after cutting the breeze in a moderate tempo couldn’t see it out. Back to the mile suits and he will be looking to charge late.

SHAREAPASSION (11) will need some factors to go his way here but if there is some early and mi-race tempo, his chances will increase. This is a shade below his last start and can feature.

RACE EIGHT

NONE BETTOR (3) took a few starts this time in to get back to his best and found his race last start when forging to the front from gate 5 and taking control. A good beginner he can light the lamps here and with the absence of outside pressure looks hard to run-down.

SKYFELLA CAM (1) only started his career this season at 4 and has managed to place twice and land a victory. Given a freshen he returned 2 starts back as the fav when facing a steep task behind SURFACE TO AIR. He found the line nicely behind PROFICIENT last start and this appeals.

SLIPPERY JADE (8) hit the line strongly from gate 5 here 2 starts back and arrived for a half-neck victory. This is easier than the last start mares qualifier she took on and she will get the cosy trip.

MACH SAM (7)has the tough gate to overcome, but with limited hopes to press forward this might be his chance to roll forward in the run to settle close to the speed. A good winner 3 back at Redcliffe he can podium.
