Four-time Brisbane Metropolitan champion trainer Tony Gollan has linked with miRunners to offer an affordable ownership platform for potential new owners.
miRunners aims to buy high-quality yearlings, match them with first-class trainers, before splitting the cost into 1000 ownership units to make the experience of horse ownership affordable to everyday punters.
The service has risen to prominence in the past 12 months after it linked with trainers such as Gai Waterhouse, David Hayes, Bjorn Baker and now, Gollan.
Gollan will train a filly by Your Song (ex Sheeznodoubt) with a purchase price of $275 per-share, plus a monthly fee of $15 for the first unit.
An additional $5 per-month is payable for each additional unit purchased.
The filly has links to Queensland with sire Your Song a five-length winner of the former G1 BTC Cup.
Sheeznodoubt has also produced four foals to race, all of whom are winners, including the stakes-placed She's Our Star - trained by Gollan.
Jockey Tegan Harrison said she believed it was beneficial to have a trainer with experience with horses that share the same bloodlines.
"When I look through this horse’s bloodlines I see She’s Our Star and Miss Exfactor which were both successful runners for Tony Gollan so he knows a lot about this family and I think it’s very important miRunners have teamed him up with this horse,” she said.
