Gunning for four black-type wins in a row, Monsieur Gustave is charming early birds in the lead up to the Group 3 George Moore Stakes at Doomben.

UBET spokesperson Nick Curry said the in-form Sunshine Coast sprinter was the best backed runner in the $200,000 race, the first leg of the Sprinters Summer Crown.

“On the back of some support and a couple of key scratchings, he’s been $5.00 into $3.50 with us,” said Curry.

“He’s got a big weight and a wide gate, but punters don’t seem to mind – they’re sticking fat with him.”

Curry said Brooklyn Storm was another firmer, $21 into $11, while the Peter and Paul Snowden raider Calanda remained a solid $2.80 favourite.

He said there was also a big market match on Snoopy and Beauty Flame at $9.00, both of whom were first up for new trainers.

Latest markets for the entire Doomben card can be found here.

UBET is offering account customers real Money Back up to $50 if their horse runs 2nd or 3rd in Races 1-5 at Doomben tomorrow.
