The Eagle Farm track remediation process is continuing with the sand - delivered to the site during the week - being blended, mixed with stabilizer and placed on the site ready for compaction.
Once the sand profile has been compacted, contractors will continue laying the turf.
While the wet weather has resulted in days lost it has been beneficial for the turf already laid, which is growing well. Site staff report the turf is responding well to the rain and the track is draining well.
