RACE ONE

ARROKEEFE (5) has placed at his past 3 in succession, the latest when working home strongly after finding himself a long way back in the pack when trying to find position. That followed a nice effort when 5m to GANGSTER BOY and with even luck he is right in the mix.

OUTLAW FELLA (6) has been in the top 3 in 8 of his past 9 including 3 wins in that period. Last week he came wide and finished best of the chasing pack behind TREVS NO ANGEL. He can roll forward here and will be fighting hard.

RACE TWO

RORY MACH (8) was angled down to the pegs here on Tues and then with a wide last challenge arrived on the line to deny COMPLY OR DIE the 2138m victory. He will get the perfect trip here and be ready to take the closing shot when the gaps present.

CHEAP TINT (1) led them up early before releasing here on Tues and from the pocket trail over the 2138m could only manage to get within 9.5m of the winner. 2 starts back over the mile he was 5m from OUR MELS DREAM and back to the mile in this field will be gripping on.

RACE THREE

JOSSIE JAMES (6) dropped in for the trail and was hampered for space last start when finishing 5m from the all the way winner MARETTI. That followed a tidy passing lane victory when her closing sprint was electric. Finding position here she can swoop over the top.

BET IM SPECIAL (2) was put away after a tough run when finishing 4m from ELENIARK. That had followed 3 successive wins including a career best rate when leading all the way from gate. He trialled in good order to prepare for this and a sharp effort 1^st up can be expected.

RACE FOUR

THREE OF THE BEST (4) shoots for the hat-trick after successive 2138m wins in sweeping a C4-5 Rising Stars series. In the final he pressed forward to the lead from gate 3 and fought hard to hold on for a half-head win. He will likely need to work in the run here but is a classy conveyance.

MARETTI (2) is in superb touch and made it 3 wins from his past 4 starts last time out when easily holding the front and then going wire to wire in comfortable fashion, running some slick sectionals along the way. He can be first to the pegs here and will give them plenty to chase.

RACE FIVE

MONUMENTAL (6) put together 3 successive placed runs including a flashing 2^nd to CROWNING GLORY when attacking the line. He struck trouble at his next run and then his latest run was good when 10m from FIREBBY. He strikes a winnable race here and if able to find position can swoop.

ANNAS BEST (3) is a slick beginner that can take the early shot and aim for the pegs. Last start she found the front before releasing and finishing 3^rd to ROCKNROLL AMBER. With a similar run she has claims in this line-up.

RACE SIX

SOUTHERN ALPS (3) stepped cleanly and went straight to the front in the first round of this series and once in control was never in danger to score a comfortable 6m victory. He looks to have his share of ability and with another safe start he can repeat last week’s effort.

JUSTABITCOCO (10) was hitting the line strongly in the closing stages last week and ran some tidy sections in claiming the silver behind NEEDLE.  Her previous 2 runs were against the higher class performers and she will be steaming home late again here.

RACE SEVEN

BRONSKI MACKENZIE (4) will be tightened from 1 run back from a spell following a good break after her 2YO term. In that run she worked home wide out over the closing stages of the 1780m trip at Redcliffe and was 6m from the winner. She looks to get her chance in this line-up.

LONG LEGS LOU (1) has faced the starter 3 times since returning from a break and with the first 2 of those nice efforts, the latest can be discounted when striking trouble. From the gate she can hold the early advantage and will be gripping on in the closing stages.

RACE EIGHT

NEEDLE (4) is undefeated in 2 starts since arriving in Aus and both those wins have been over the AP 2138m trip. In the first round of this series she was away well from the 10m and worked her way to the front. Once in control her opponents were chasing in vain. She will be attempting the series sweep and looks hard to stop.

NORTHERN MUSCLE (9) will take good benefit from the first round when resuming from a spell. Sent forward he worked around the field and then cut the breeze and was strong to the line when a 7m 3^rd to SOUTHERN ALPS. He is a big player in this Series and can throw down a challenge in this.

RACE NINE

SLIPPERY JADE (2) has started twice since returning from a break and has worked in the run in each of those outings at Redcliffe and been below her best. Back to AP she will be better suited and from this gate can look to get straight to the pegs and dictate terms to turn her slump around.

ULTIMATE AD (5) is racing well and has been in the money at 7 of 9 outings this season. Last start at Redcliffe he looked to take them all the way over the 2040m trip when grabbed up the passing lane. He faces a tricky gate here but is going too well to dismiss.
