RACE ONE

PALE BEAR BOO (10)
has been destroying his opponents on the Thursday circuit securing a hat-trick of dominant wins. Stepping up to Wed night company he found the front from gate 4 and was grabbed in the line by MUCHO MACHO MAN. Despite the gate this looks easier.

WEASEL (1) finished best of the chasing pack behind PALE BEAR BOO 2 starts back and last start wasn’t suited off gate 6. He gets the draw to have the options here and will be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: PALE BEAR BOO (10), WEASEL (1), ROCKNROLL AMBER (5), ONYAJANS (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PALE BEAR BOO (10) to win

RACE TWO

MACH TORQUE (2) will be tightened from her last start which was her first run after a 1 month break. Striking trouble in the Tamworth Star Maker 2 starts back she was given a break and last start took on a much stronger 3YO race. With her best gate for some time she can turn things around.

SPLASH OF GOLD (5) added another minor placing to her tally last week to make it 10 successive placed runs including a dead-heat win. With good early speed she can slide across to find position and won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: MACH TORQUE (2), SPLASH OF GOLD (5), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (6), MINI MIRACLE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-5-6-8

RACE THREE

ROCKNROLL PROMISE (3) took them all the way here 2 starts back when leading from gate 1 and scoring a comfortable win 1st up form a long break. Too far back when restrained from gate 5 last start he will be fitter and can fire out and look to dictate here.

ARMBROS LAD (1) went to the front last start and was trying to fight them off over the 1780m trip when grabbed late and finishing 2.5m from the winner KEARNEY LANE. He has the options here and with a cosy run can make the last shot a winning one to threaten.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL PROMISE (3), ARMBROS LAD (1), BALLATOR THOR (7), SONNY ORLANDO (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL PROMISE / ARMBROS LAD (1/3) Quinella

RACE FOUR

LUCKY NED PEPPER (7)
will need plenty of luck from this gate but with the chance that he can get to the passing lane with momentum he is worthy of his chance. Runner-up at his past 2 starts he got within 2m of the winner last time and 2 back was grabbed late when trying to lead throughout.

COULDNTBETOLD (10) made the most of an easier assignment 2 starts back when working home strongly from the 2nd line to score and the last start released the pressure to run XTRAODINARY LOMBO to a head. Look for him working home strongly.

SELECTIONS: LUCKY NED PEPPER (7), COULDNTBETOLD (10), LONGSHANKS (6), STEEVEJAY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LUCKY NED PEPPER (7)

RACE FIVE

JUST SAY GO (3) has placed in all 5 starts since returning from a spell and been runner-up in 4 of them. Last start from gate 1 he went within a head of BOBBIES GIRL in an Aspirational at AP and 3 back was only a neck from SOMEPARTYSOMEWHERE. Freshened since his last run he gets every chance.

BONNIE JUJON (4) was warming up to something and last start delivered when facing the breeze and proving too strong to take a 4m victory. She can look to settle handy here and with some mid-race pressure will be closing strongly.

SELECTIONS: JUST SAY GO (3), BONNIE JUJON (4), NONE BETTOR (6), COLADA RAINBOW (2)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST SAY GO (3) to win

RACE SIX

MUCHO MACHO MAN (4)
landed the hat-trick victory last start when settling in the pocket trail and arriving in time to knock-off PALE BEAR BOO. That followed successive wins at the 2040m trip and the 5YO has come back in great order this prep. With a 10:5-4-0 record here on the triangle he looks hard to stop.

OUR PEPPERJACK (1) has been freshened since last appearing here over the 1780m trip. Buried away on the pegs in that race he was hitting the line strongly to get within a head of the winner. With a cosy trip off the gate he can feature.

SELECTIONS: MUCHO MACHO MAN (4), OUR PEPPERJACK (1), SHEZABONNYGEM (6), SPONDOOLEY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MUCHO MACHO MAN (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (2) will be further tightened from his 2nd run back from a break when finishing mid-field behind MINI MIRACLE. That followed a handy 1st up run when 3rd from gate 3 over the 2040m. He finds a suitable target from a good alley and can look to capitalise.

LARA BAY (1) was a winner here 4 starts back and followed that with a pair of 3rd placed runs. She couldn’t work into it last start but will be better suited from gate 1 here and can be ready to strike in the closing stages.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (2), LARA BAY (1), ALWAYS A JEWEL (6), GETINANHANGON (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

CHEVALS RACER (7)
finished down the line in the first round of the Jim McNeil heats after striking trouble. Scratched from the 2nd round of heats is of some concern, but if he lines up in this he can fire off his handicap and give this a big shake.

FIERY RUM (1) made her debut for the Stephen Bunz team last start when resuming from a long break and was solid in finishing a half-head from the winner after making an error. Forced back to the trials she returns to the fold here and if able to do everything right can surprise.

SELECTIONS: CHEVALS RACER (7), FIERY RUM (1), GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (5), MAPLE CROWN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CHEVALS RACER (7) to win
