DERRICK BRADY 2018 'A' GRADE COACH BenchMark 58 Handicap 1200m

High Africaine

Form comment: Only beaten 2.5 lengths first-up last preparation at the same track and distance. This is not his ideal distance. Great record in the wet.

Trainer comment: She is a mare that will get over further. She ran well first-up last preparation but that was a maiden and she faces stronger company this time around. I would be surprised to see her win but I am happy with how she’s going.

TRUCKS ON THE RUN PTY LTD BenchMark 65 Handicap 2000m

Hot Talk

Form comment: Won first-up over at the track last time in and has a good fresh record overall. Beaten 1.2 lengths at Kilcoy last start but will appreciate a drop in weight here.

Trainer comment: She gets some big weight relief coming back from Kilcoy and has been freshened- up after a hard run. I am happy with how she is going. The 1300m is a good distance for her. If she had drawn an alley I would have been confident, but this (gate 11) makes it tricky.

KILCOY PASTORAL COMPANY BenchMark 55 Handicap 1200m

Gully Command

Form comment: Consistent and well-travelled 7-year-old gelding. First up record is just and this is not his ideal distance. Keep an eye on the weather as he would appreciate any sting out of the ground.

Trainer comment: He has been flying actually and trialed really well. He’s just a good, tough old horse and every time he runs is thereabouts. He has been a ripper horse for me. I’m not sure whether he can beat Hard Stride (#1) but my guy is an old warrior and will give a sight.

AUSTRALIA'S BEST HAM @ NOOSA MEAT CENTRE OPEN Handicap 1000m

Mishani Rainman

Form comment: Had excuses on debut when last at Ipswich. Broke the class record at Toowoomba as well as his maiden status at his next start in impressive fashion.

Trainer comment: He is another horse that will want more of a trip. But he won super at his second run last time in and he has come back bigger, better and stronger.
