RACE TWO

CALLMEDEMARO (6) went to the pegs from gate 5 here on Tues over the mile and from back in the pack was searching for space that never arrived. After getting close to a victory he was able to capitalise over the 2138m here 2 starts back in leading all the way and he can go close again here.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING (7) took on a qualifier last start when having an early look from gate 5 before sliding back into the 1x1. Closing well to grab the bronze behind CARDLESFROMHEAVEN, it followed successive placings. Despite the wide gate, this is a shade easier and he can throw down a challenge.

SIR JUJON (2) worked to the front last start from this gate and once in control held on to record his 2nd career victory. With the gate to use his early speed, he can be in the right position to feature.

WHITEHAVEN LASS (4) was buried last start from inside the 2nd line. Probing for gaps she was only 6m from the winner. That followed an all the way win from gate 7 and she is in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: CALLMEDEMARO (6), DOUBLE OR NOTHING (7), SIR JUJON (2), WHITEHAVEN LASS (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

BEAUDACIOUS (4) speared across from this same gate last start to take control when sent to the post as fav. After a steady run through the middle 800m, he looked to raise the tempo through the final panel yet was collared late when 2m in arrears. He will be griping on again.

OURS TO KEEP (8) has placed in 3 of 5 appearances as she looks to break the maiden tag. All 5 of those outings have been at Redcliffe, the latest when things didn’t go to plan from inside the 2nd line. Needing some luck here from the gate, if she can see space in time, look for her swooping.

MIND OF MY OWN (7) has the wide gate to overcome as she starts her 3YO term. Placed in 4 of 6 last season at 2YO, she showed promise and with a pair of trials to prepare, can feature.

GOJOE (9) did some early work last start before receiving cover to then close out and grab the silver. Showing steady improvement, with the right trail he can again be looking to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: BEAUDACIOUS (4), OURS TO KEEP (8), MIND OF MY OWN (7), GOJOE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BEAUDACIOUS (4) to win

RACE FOUR

This race looks a wide-open contest with plenty of these runners looking to recapture some form. With the gate advantage to utilise some early speed, MY ULTIMATE HELL (2) might have found his race here. 8m away in 3rd last start behind MUMMYS BOY, he has placed in 2 of his past 3 and can cash-in.

BROKEN ARK (6)
will take further benefit from his latest appearance when 2nd up for the term. Settling in the 1x1 trail, he didn’t have any answers for his stablemate FEARLESS FAITH who powered home to score. This is no harder than his 2 runs back and despite the gate can challenge here.

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (10) wasn’t suited last start over the 2138m and after being wide prior to sliding into a position faded late. His run 2 starts back had merit behind WITH THE BAND and he has claims.

WHERES TASCOTT (7) doesn’t have any favours from this gate but if she can limit the early burn, she can be thereabouts. A Marburg winner 2 starts back, she didn’t have much luck last time.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE HELL (2), BROKEN ARK (6), SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (10), WHERES TASCOTT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE HELL (2) to win

RACE FIVE

This race has attracted a nice collection of 3YO pacers with the last start winner MUMMYS BOY (9) looking to make it back-to-back victories. Eased back in the early stages from gate 6 last start he was soon sent forward to the breeze and had bullets to fire when cruising to an 8m victory. Fitter for the outing after 2 runs back, he can arrive again.

BLACKSADANCE (7) will appreciate returning to his own age after taking on the older horses in recent starts. Tough in the breeze over the 2138m last start behind CALLMEDEMARO, he was too strong in front the start prior. The gate is a stinger, but he is a nice type and can overcome the impediment.

FOREVER ROCKING (4) will take great benefit and confidence form her last start maiden breaking win. Eased back from gate 6, she worked home strongly for a smart Redcliffe win. Early position will be key here and she has claims.

AMAYA BECOMES (6) found her race last start to kick off her 3YO win ledger when leading comfortably and cruising home in a sub 28 closing panel at Redcliffe in nice style. The wide gate hurts but she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MUMMYS BOY (9), BLACKSADANCE (7), FOREVER ROCKING (4), AMAYA BECOMES (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

SIGNORINA JUJON (1) has been to the track 3 time this campaign for a mixed bag. Facing a task 1st up in a Rising Stars Heat when down the line behind the smart TIZ A SIZZLER, she then went within a head 2nd up. Beaten by the 2nd line last start, she has the options and benefits here to capitalise.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (2) was 1st up from a break last start when sent to the front over the 2138m. Setting a solid tempo took its toll and he faded under the pressure. Only 6m in arrears at his last outing prior to a break, he looked good in 3 smart trials and fitter for the outing can go close here.

JUSTA DALE (12) worked home strongly over the mile to arrive right on the line here 2 starts back for a smart victory. On a two-day back-up he went within 3m at his next run and can swoop late here.

HUNTAWAY (9) was sent forward from gate 5 last start and rolling the sleeves was in for the fight when finishing 1m from the winner in a 2nd division qualifier. With the right early trail, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: SIGNORINA JUJON (1), LITTLELIONELJAMES (2), JUSTA DALE (12), HUNTAWAY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNORINA JUJON (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

SIXPENNY RED (1) wasn’t suited last start from gate 6 when working hard over the 2138m and under the pressure faded and was banished to the trials. Earning the return with a sound trial, she has been freshened and comes up with the peg-line benefits and options to look for atonement.

ROLL WITH ROCKY (10) doesn’t receive any favours from this alley but shouldn’t find this any harder than recent outings. Looking to take them all the way last start when grabbed in the closing stages to take the bronze, he can look for a cart home here to make a challenge in the stretch.

CC JONES (3) features in a stable switch and will line up for the Donny Smith barn. He worked home in nice order last start over the mile when 8m form the winner and stays under watch here.

MONTANA EXPRESS (11) has been a costly commodity in recent starts, going under as the ruling fav at his past 4 in succession. He will need to work at some stage here and can find the podium again.

SELECTIONS: SIXPENNY RED (1), ROLL WITH ROCKY (10), CC JONES (3), MONTANA EXPRESS (11)
SUGGESTED BET: SIXPENNY RED (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

LIFES BLACK (1) faced a tricky gate last start in an Aspirational when forced to work home wide off the track to grab the silver when within 3m of the winner. Working hard in the breeze early before cover arrived 2 starts back, he is fitter again and with the peg-line benefits will be ready to snipe.

CHERRYS THE BEST (3) was strong in victory here 2 starts back when working wide off the track from gate 7 and packing too many guns to fight them off. Working to the front last start, she was grabbed on the line when beaten an eyelash. Looking likely to roll the sleeves, she will be in for the fight.

MAKE MINE JOE (5) is knocking on the door with placings in his past 3 in succession, all from tough gates. Lats start he was charging late to be 3m in arrears and with even luck will be chiming in late.

COLOMBIAN GOLD (2) is the most improved mare in Qld and has placed her past 2 when setting solid tempos on each occasion. The 2138m is the big query here, but if she can pinch a panel, can be in the fight.

SELECTIONS: LIFES BLACK (1), CHERRYS THE BEST (3), MAKE MINE JOE (5), COLOMBIAN GOLD (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LIFES BLACK (1) to win

RACE NINE

LAUGHING EMOJI (1)
took on a mares qualifier last start when looking to take them all the way over the mile from gate 2. The 27.3 opener proved too costly when grabbed in the closing stages and followed a half-head 3rd again when grabbed late. With the options, she can look to capitalise.

HANDSOME HERO (7) settled in the running line last start from gate 4 and worked home in good order to grab the bronze when within 3m of the winner MAJOR CURRENCY. The start prior he really found the line with gusto after snagging back early. The gate hurts but he can challenge.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (9) was locked away on the pegs last start and chased nicely to grab the bronze when 3m from the winner COLONEL JOY. With an easy trip available, he can chime in.

TWITTER BROMAC (4) went to the pegs last start at Redcliffe looking for the short-cuts when running into some traffic. Only beaten a neck the start prior, she can get handy and has claims.

SELECTIONS: LAUGHING EMOJI (1), HANDSOME HERO (7), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (9), TWITTER BROMAC (4)
SUGGESTED BET: LAUGHING EMOJI (1) to win
