Talented filly Dream Kisses will continue trainer Steve O’dea’s long held wish of giving owner Joe Rapisarda a taste of Magic Millions glory when she steps out at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

The daughter of Dream Ahead is a $14 chance in latest UBET markets for the QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap (1200m).

Rapisarda is a north Queensland farmer and was one of the driving forces behind O’dea’s decision to move to Brisbane to further his training career in 2009.

Rapisarda and O’dea’s best Magic Millions day performance was with Candika who ran third to Capitalist in last year’s Magic Millions Classic.

The pair were hoping Dream Kisses’ half-sister Katy’s Daughter could go win this year’s $2 million Magic Millions Classic on Saturday week before she was injured after winning at the Gold Coast on December 23.

Katy’s Daughter suffered a chipped knee which required surgery while stablemate Singular Sensation also will miss the Magic Millions Classic after pulling up sore following her recent win.

"Joe has been a great supporter of mine since I started training up north and I’d love to win a Magic Millions for him,” O’dea said.

Dream Kisses and Katy’s Daughter are both daughters of O’dea’s former star Kiss Me Katy who helped put the trainer on the map when he first arrived in Brisbane.

Kiss Me Katy was O’dea’s first Brisbane winner and first Stakes winner after she claimed the Listed Sir Douglas Wadley Stakes in 2009.

She finished her career with four wins from 14 starts including a Group 3 placing in the San Domenico Stakes at Randwick.

Dream Kisses will again be ridden by Paul Hammersley in her final dress rehearsal for next week’s $2 million Magic Millions Guineas (1400m).

Dream Kisses has been placed in all three starts this campaign including a last start second behind Nilette on a heavy 9 at Ipswich on December 27.

Dream Kisses has solid wet track form and O’dea won’t be concerned if rain returns.

The Gold Coast track was rated heavy earlier in the week after several days of rain but has dried significantly and track officials are hopeful of a return to a good track.
