RACE TWO

OUTLAW FELLA (2) was knocking on the door after a string of winless runs and put the notice that a win wasn’t far off when running a good 3^rd to INVINCIBLE LOXTON. He found his race last start and worked home strongly from the 2^nd line to score comfortably. Back to the front line this looks his.

ZARAS DELIGHT (1) hit the line strongly to score 3 starts back when defeating PSYCHEDELIC and backed that up with a best of the rest 2^nd behind SOMEPARTYSOMEWHERE. Her run last start from gate 10 was a solid effort and with the cosy trip from the gate here will be taking the last shot.

OUR UNCLE SAM (7) scored a strong win from the front in an M0 4 starts back and then qualified for the Chariots Of Fire when down the line behind JILLIBY KUNG FU. First up here he gets no favours from the gate but will be worth following.

BUNDABURRA (5) was hitting the line strongly 2 starts back and ran the flying BODHI TREE to a head. Not suited last start from the inside gate he can roll forward to find position and is some hope.

RACE THREE

LEXUS ON THE BEACH (3) is in good touch and 2 starts back scored a strong win in a 2^nd divioson band 5 when facing the breeze. Last week he went to the front over the 2138m trip and was grabbed in the closing stages by a flying SOMEPARTYSOMEWHERE. Back to the mile suits and he can cash-in.

ADMIRAL BRONSKI (9) was 1^st-up back in Qld last start when starting from gate 7 he was set alight and went to the front over the mile. With no run since December, he started to feel the effects late and just got tired the closing stages. Fitter from that run and with a nice trail through he is right in this.

INVINCIBLE LOXTON (7) is having a superb season with 7 wins and the last 4 in succession. Too strong when pressing on to the front in a qualifier last week, this is tougher and the gate hurts yet he is taking each challenge as they are presented.

FIRE AND ICE (1) has good early speed and can look to hold the inside advantage before releasing. Only 3m from the winner last start via the passing lane he will be trying to rally the last challenge.

RACE FOUR

MAKO BANNER (1) has been freshened since his last appearance when he couldn’t go with them when the sprint went on and his form tapered. From the gate he will need to hustle to protect the advantage but from the front he can control the speed in this and looks to get his chance.

TOP TRIO (8) will be glued to the back of MAKO BANNER and will be ready to take the closing shot when the passing lane opens. He was hitting the line well last start when 10m from BODHI TREE after settling a long way back and will be coiled and ready to strike.

WITH AUTHORITY (11) found the line nicely last start when running CASINO TOMMY to 1m. A Band 5 winner 2 starts back when hitting the line hard at the end of the mile, he will be swooping late again.

BETTOR BE LUCKY (9) looked to take them all the way on Tues over the 2138m and was grabbed late by PSYCHEDELIC. That followed a top effort in the TRIAD and from the gate can drop to the pegs for the cheap run.

RACE FIVE

MISTER BLACKJACK (3) has had his races spaced this prep and lines up for just the 3^rd time in the past 100 days. His last run was in a Rising Stars heat behind COLT THIRTY ONE and after settling in the pocket trail didn’t shirk the task. He can look to force the issue early and looks the one to beat.

PALE BEAR BOO (6) will appreciate this line-up after taking on some stronger types recently. Last start he looked to take them all the way but couldn’t see it out with INVINCIBLE LOXTON eyeballing him. His run 2 back was a tidy effort and he has some hope here.

MISTER FANTANGLES (2) was buried away on the pegs last start at Redcliffe and never really had a shot at them. Beaten a neck 3 starts back by ARTIKULATE MISS, he can look to be 1^st to the pegs.

RUATO BAY (11) finished a 5m 2^nd to ITS JUST KENNY in a qualifier last start after securing the pocket trail from gate 1. He looks to have good place claims here.

RACE SIX

BODHI TREE (7) has had the most amazing season and added another victory to the tally last start when finishing over the top from a 2^nd line gate to make it 4 wins in succession. A winner from this same gate 2 starts back to claim a M0 victory, he has no favours from the gate but with a solid tempo can swoop on them again.

JESTER OH JESTER (1) went back from gate 4 last start and angled to the pegs to look for luck worked home well for the bronze behind CASINO TOMMY. He looked to take them all the way 2 starts back and was still fighting on to go under by 5m in a blanket finish. The gate gives him every chance here.

SOMEPARTSOMEWHERE (6) speared out to lead from gate 4 and was never headed 4 starts back and followed that when setting the tempo of a Redcliffe 2040m track record. He might just be set alight early here to look for the front and has claims.

WRITTEN IN RED (4) finished best to score over the 2138m here 2 starts back and then was too far back from gate 7 last time. Settling closer from this alley he should be included in the exotics.

RACE SEVEN

OYSTER STRIDE (2) was buried away on the pegs 2 starts back in a similar race and just kept coming when the gaps were opening to arrive for the victory. Not suited when having to cut the breeze last start, he finds another suitable target and working to the front can look to dictate here.

RIVERLEIGH JEFF (8) will need a slice of luck from this gate as he looks to be buried in the run. A tough winner 3 starts back in a 2^nd division qualifier he followed that with the bronze behind MAGICNRACING. He won’t spend a cent in the run here, just needs the gaps at the right time.

CONDAFEW (3) has been in the money at his past 3 starts with the past 2 of those at Tamworth when starting from wide gate. He found the line well last time to get within a neck of CATCH THE BREEZE. The improved gate aids his chances.

FRENCH GLOBE (5) couldn’t find position last start and was dragged back and once at the rear it was a near impossible task behind INVINCIBLE LOXTON. With even luck to find position, he can throw down a challenge.

RACE EIGHT

SUBTLE DELIGHT (12) has the tough gate to overcome, but that has been a feature of his career and he strikes a winnable target here. 2 starts back he was attacking the line at the end of the 2138m to finish within 2m of GRINVIL. Too far back last start, he was 10m from CLINTAL DO in the Triad 3 starts back. Just needs to be in the right position to take this.

HE GETS IT (3) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts at Redcliffe in differing styles. Buried on the pegs 2 starts back he chased home behind MR MEDDLE and last start cut the breeze behind MAMMALS FLASH. He has claims in this.

DOMESTIC ART (1) lands the gate to look for the early lead and without the presence of a great deal of pressure might just give some cheek in front. Only 5m from MONIVAE in a 2^nd division qualifier 3 back, the gate gives him his chance.

COMIGAL (9) should appreciate this class of race after taking in some tougher contests in recent outings. Beaten 5.5m at each of her past 2 behind GET IN THE GROOVE and CHERISH THE MOMENT she just needs luck to feature

RACE NINE

NOVENA ROSE (9) is knocking on the door to win one of these mares qualifiers and despite a tricky gate here this could be her time to cash-in. Best of the rest behind the top mare ELENAIARK 3 starts back her run last week was a huge effort to grab the bronze after striking trouble at the 800m. Just needs the rub of the green.

ROCKING (11) makes her debut for Darrel Graham and arrives a last start 2^nd at Wagga when working home wide off the track. A strong winner of the Junee Cup when leading all the way 6 starts back, she stays under notice.

ARTIKULATE MISS (12) started fav last week from gate 7 and sent forward cut the breeze but couldn’t see it out. That followed a tidy effort behind INVINCIBLE LOXTON off the 2^nd line. She can be better here.

LIVE IT LOUD (2) worked in the run on Wed when sitting outside ALLNIGHT MLADY and fought hard to the line. That followed a good 3^rd to NONE BETTOR and going to the front she will give some cheek.

RACE TEN

JUSTABITLIKEMUM (4) loomed up last week and went to the front and was in for the fight but couldn’t hold off the finishing power of SOUTHERN ALPS. Just grabbed late 2 starts back at Redcliffe over the 2613m trip she can look to get forward here and can go one better this week.

SOUTHERN ALPS (9) was looking to secure his 4^th successive win when making an error at the start in a mid-week T2-7. Coming out  4 days later he was on his game and settling in the running line from the 30m finished best to grab JUSTABITLIKEMUM on the line. The extra 10m this time makes it tougher but he can still take this.
NORTHERN MUSCLE (6) was finishing off strongly last week to get within 6m of SOUTHERN ALPS. Too far back 2 starts back he will meet SOUTHERN ALPS 20m better off here and can look to make the most of it.

ZAIRE DIVA (5) hit the line in good style last week from well back in the pack. That followed a tidy effort when working wide out. With a safe getaway she can issue a challenge here.
