PUNTERS GUIDE TO IPSWICH

- Look for horses that can corner well

- Horses do well from any barrier

- Short straight means turn of foot is important

- 1500m starts on the corner - look for good experience at this distance at Ipswich

- Look for experienced Jockeys

- Race on the speed

- Think Moonee Valley of the north

- Handles the wet very well

- One of the most raced on tracks in QLD

- Look to be out on the crown / crest of the track if a bit of rain, about 4 or 5 off the fence runs well

- Handles up to 20 runners well

- The home of where the Winx unbeaten run began

- A little bit of extra fitness and hardness helps
