FORM ANALYSIS BY DARREN CLAYTON - @DASHMAN01

Speed maps are based on recent and anticipated racing patterns. For important changes of tactics which may affect the accuracy of this speed map follow @QRICstewards on Twitter.

RACE TWO

BALTIC BLUE EYES (1)
has been battling some wider gates which has seen her work in the run cutting the breeze in successive runs that isn’t her go. On Tues she was in a much stronger Gold Pot final when taken back to the fence. She strikes a winnable race and the gate to look to capitalise on her good early speed.

CHEVRONS DELIGHT (3) will take good benefit from his run on Sunday which was his first race appearance in Aust, 2nd overall and 1st in over 2 years. Using the passing lane he was able to get within 2m of the winner to claim the silver. He can find the podium again and will pay to follow.

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (7) Only beaten 1m last start when working forward in the run off gate 6, he has some claims again here.
JANIES GOT A GUN (6) makes her Qld debut for the Chantal Turpin  and stays under a market watch.

SELECTIONS: BALTIC BLUE EYES (1), CHEVRONS DELIGHT (3), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (7), JANIES GOT A GUN (6)

RACE THREE

PLATINUM ART (1) was 2nd up off a break here last start over this trip and from this same alley took the pocket trail when finishing 1m from the winner RORY MACH. Further tightened from that outing, he should get another perfect trip and can look to make the closing shot a winning one.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER (2) did some early work before receiving cover in the run last start when finishing 10m from RORY MACH. He was hitting the line in good style in a Claiming heat 3 starts back when only 2.5m from GOTTA GLOW. The small field suits and he is a big danger from the gate.

RORY MACH (3) didn’t look entirely comfortable trying to make ground on the wet track last and will be better suited here.
CALCAVADO (4) can find position here and running on late has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: PLATINUM ART (1), FLOYD MAYWEATHER (2), RORY MACH (3), CALCAVADO (4)
SUGGESTED BET: PLATINUM ART (1) to win

RACE FOUR

COLADA RAINBOW (1)
pressed forward from gate 5 here on Sunday and forced his way to the front over the 1660m trip and was trying to fight them off when grabbed in the closing stages to take the bronze. There doesn’t look to be much outside pressure here and he can look to take them all the way.

TARIN KOWT (9) started fav on Sun when starting off gate 1 over the 2138m trip. From the pocket trail he looked ready to offer in the stretch but his run ended before it started. Back to the mile will suit and with the option to drop down to the pegs will be probing for gaps.

ITS ALL TORQUE (8) looks set to get the perfect trail and can feature here.
MO JARNEY (2) From this gate he can settle in the running line and has claims for the exotics.

SELECTIONS: COLADA RAINBOW (1), TARIN KOWT (9), ITS ALL TORQUE (8), MO JARNEY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: COLADA RAINBOW (1) to win

RACE FIVE

MOHEGAN SUN (1) finally lands an alley to issue a serious challenge after drawing gates where he has been reliant on luck or hasn’t had the right gate in the right field. He was run down in the closing stages last start at his first improved gate in some time. With the speed to hold the front here he can dictate and make his own luck.

STIRLING WILLIAM (5) will appreciate the 2138m trip after taking on the mile at his past 2 starts and from the wider gates lacks the high speed for a closing sprint. Over the longer trip he can look to grind away and from this gate can look to work home to find the podium.

WASTE OF TIME (2) with no 2nd line can get in behind the early leader for a soft trip.
DEVIL DODGER (6) has been sent forward in recent starts and can throw down the challenge again.

SELECTIONS: MOHEGAN SUN (1), STIRLING WILLIAM (5), WASTE OF TIME (2), DEVIL DODGER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MOHEGAN SUN (1) to win

RACE SIX

STATEMENT PLEASE (1)
looked to take them all the way last start from this same gate when it was only her stablemate SOMMWHEREOVARAINBOW who managed to get the better of her. That made it her 5th runner-up award for the term. From the ace and not much pressure, will today be the day.

GOT THE GOODS (8) will take further benefit from his latest start when forced to work in the run outside of STATEMENT PLEASE. That followed a nice 3rd when returning from a break and with the cosy trip here can be looking to make the closing shot.

MAYWYNS COURAGE (10) a forward showing will certainly be no surprise in this line-up.
NOTMUCHUPTOP (6) has the tough gate to overcome as he returns for the start of his 3YO term. May pay to follow.

SELECTIONS: STATEMENT PLEASE (1), GOT THE GOODS (8), MAYWYNS COURAGE (10), NOTMUCHUPTOP (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-6-8-10

RACE SEVEN

BET IM SPECIAL (9) gets into this race nicely despite the tough gate and looks to get every chance. Fitter from 2 runs back from a break, he returned in a Rising Stars heat when leading throughout and ripping home a sizzling sub 27 closing panel and was then 4th in the final. He looks too classy for these.

WETSTERN COVE (2) makes his debut Qld outing for Narissa McMullen after arriving from NSW. 4 starts back he was sent forward to find the lead and take them all the way in a tidy effort at Menangle. He should find this easier than what he has been facing and if able to sneak a stanza will take some chasing.
GOVINNI (6) with good early speed can come out for a look and might just find a position to help his cause.
LORNE BEACH (7) The gate hurts again, but he isn’t far away in the right line-up with an alley.

SELECTIONS: BET IM SPECIAL (9), WETSTERN COVE (2), GOVINNI (6), LORNE BEACH (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BET IM SPECIAL (9) to win
