RACE TWO

BILLY LINCOLN (6) went to Redcliffe last start and from gate 6 he was never on the track when caught wide early and then wide when trying to work into the contest. Too strong when sent to the front from the 2nd line here 2 starts back, from the front will be a tough nut to crack in this.

TODAYS HERO (11) had no favours from gate 7 last start but when working home wide out in the closing stages was really attacking the line hard over the 2138m to be 2m from the winner AMILLION PROMISES. Too strong at Redcliffe the start prior, if snagging a ride home, he can challenge late.

OASIS DREAM (10) will strip fitter following his return to the track last start when he was wide out for a long way and not too far away. A tidy 3rd to IM NORMA JEAN 2 starts back, he can chime in.

JOANNIES GIRL (1) was snagged back from gate 5 at Redcliffe last start and from back in the pack was always facing a task. This is her best gate since arriving in Qld and she can look to capitalise.

SELECTIONS: BILLY LINCOLN (6), TODAYS HERO (11), OASIS DREAM (10), JOANNIES GIRL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BILLY LINCOLN (6) to win

RACE THREE

PRETTYINTHEOUTBACK (11) has been runner-up at her past 2 starts since arriving in Qld, the latest when charging home in the closing stages to get within an eyelash of the prize. Working home wide off the track the start prior from the 2nd line when 2nd to JOICE MARY, she can go one better here.

GEORGEZILLA (2) made a tidy debut at Marburg last week when sent straight to the front over the 1850m. Leading them into the stretch, he just faded late to be 5m from the winner. With the experience of that outing and getting back against maidens only here can see him go close.

CHEESANDKISSES (6) returns to start her 3YO term and comes into this without a public trial to prepare. Showing nice progression at each outing in her 1st prep, she can be better again here.

MAYWYNS HONEY (8) will be needing a slice of luck in the run here but if the gaps open, she can be slicing through to feature. A tidy 3rd to JOICE MARY 2 starts back, she just needs a rub of the green.

SELECTIONS: PRETTYINTHEOUTBACK (11), GEORGEZILLA (2), CHEESANDKISSES (6), MAYWYNS HONEY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PRETTYINTHEOUTBACK (11) to win

RACE FOUR

OUR DELIGHT (2)
took the trail last start at Redcliffe and with the tempo set for the sprint home, she couldn’t reel them in over the sprint trip. The start prior she hit the line nicely from back in the pack over this trip and with the benefit of the good gate and blessed with early speed, she can take this.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (12) took on a qualifier last start from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe and was buried in the run. Chiming in to grab the bronze behind SEEUINNASHVILLE, it was a tidy effort in sharp tie for the 2138m. A strong winner the start prior, he has can feature despite a tough gate.

SEA HAWKE (3) made the most of the return to Redcliffe at his past 2, scoring successive wins to get the confidence back up. This shapes as a step up again, but shooting for a hat-trick he can go close.

TRUNKEY DIGGER (1) rolled the sleeves to face the breeze last time out at Marburg and fought gamely to hold on for the bronze. Not far away, she will get a cosy trip here and will be probing.

SELECTIONS: OUR DELIGHT (2), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (12), SEA HAWKE (3), TRUNKEY DIGGER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR DELIGHT (2) to win

RACE FIVE

SIXPENNY RED (11) will take good benefit from her return to the track when 1st up as a 4YO without a public trial to prepare. Settling back in the pack from the 2nd line over the Redcliffe 2040m, she started to make a move at the 400m before angling back to the inside. The gate hurts but this is a winnable contest.

A ROCKNROLL LEGACY (8) was working hard in the run last start and was in for the fight when 7m from the tidy winner COMMODORE JUJON. He found the line nicely the start prior to grab the silver in a non-TAB contest and with the likelihood of a cosy trip here can take the closing shot.

DATSGOOD (1) returns to the Donny Smith barn and will be 1st up since returning to his care. A winner at her last start under his tutelage, she has good early speed and can be sharper here.

BAMBOLE NERE (3) eased back last start and was wide off the track when looking to make a run but stalled when trying to launch. Tough in the breeze the start prior, she can be around the money.

SELECTIONS: SIXPENNY RED (11), A ROCKNROLL LEGACY (8), DATSGOOD (1), BAMBOLE NERE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SIXPENNY RED (11) each-way

RACE SIX

GOLD REACTOR (12) has the extreme gate to overcome as a result of his barrier manners from 2 starts back when he made an early error over the Redcliffe sprint trip. Finding the line nicely to grab the bronze, it was a nice effort under the circumstances. With the right cart home, he can arrive.

LAUGHING EMOJI (10) broke through to claim her 1st Qld victory here last start when taking them all the way over the sprint trip from gate 3. That had followed a tidy effort from gate 7 when wide off the track and in a race where the 2nd line looks to hold the power, she can issue a challenge.

SIGNORINA JUJON (9) hasn’t been fully suited at her past few starts from some tough gates, the latest when she couldn’t get into the contest. A strong winner here 5 starts back, she has claims.

MONTANA NIGHTS (7) continues his streak of horrid draws, having been no closer than gate 5 at his past 7 attempts.  He found the line strongly last start from gate 6 at Redcliffe and is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: GOLD REACTOR (12), LAUGHING EMOJI (10), SIGNORINA JUJON (9), MONTANA NIGHTS (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

BODHI TREE (6) is on the short back-up from Tuesday where he worked home wide off the track. He again faces a tough gate here, but has been racing well without too much going his way. He charged home to score in good order at Redcliffe 3 starts back and is worth a chance in a tricky contest.

DOLLY MACH LOMBO (1) spent plenty to find the front last start from gate 5 and then kept a slick tempo that saw her fade late under the pressure. Grabbed in the closing stages the start prior in a mares only contest, she lands the peg-line benefits here and will be right in the fight.

MACEY JAYDE (4) started from gate 12 last time as a result of her barrier indiscretions and from a long way back was solid to the line. Back to the main draw she can find the podium in this.

TRAIN WRECK (2) chased gamely for 2nd to ZAHVEN BANNER in a sizzling mile 2 starts back and then last start was locked on the pegs looking for space. From the gate he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: BODHI TREE (6), DOLLY MACH LOMBO (1), MACEY JAYDE (4), TRAIN WRECK (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-6

RACE EIGHT

THATS HOW WEROLL (3) eased back from gate 6 over this trip 2 starts back and was finding the line in nice style in the closing stages to grab the silver behind the impressive and in-form SECRETAGENT TYCOON. It didn’t go to plan from gate 12 last time out and with a slice of luck, can take this.

AMILLION PROMISES (1) shoots for the hat-trick after wins at the 2138m and then over the Redcliffe sprint trip. Arriving in time to score a the narrowest of victories last start, he lands the peg-line benefits for this contest and despite rising in class, the gate makes a huge difference.

TOMMY UNDER FIRE (7) returns from a freshen following a two-start Menangle campaign where things didn’t go his way. Finding the line strongly in both from back in the pack, he is in the mix here.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (8) will get the cosy trip against the markers here and be probing for the space to issue a closing shot. A 2nd last start at Redcliffe, he loves the cold sit and will be charging.

SELECTIONS: THATS HOW WEROLL (3), AMILLION PROMISES (1), TOMMY UNDER FIRE (7), BEEF CITY BLAZE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: THATS HOW WEROLL (3) to win
