Began very awkwardly making heavy contact with another runner. Hung out during the middle stages and near the 500m was forced to steady from heels. Held up approaching the home turn. Trainer G Richardson explained that as the horse was having its first start for his stable he was unable to explain its prior poor performances. Mr Richardson did however advise that upon arrival at this stable the horse had been very unruly and difficult to handle. He advised that through training methods to improve its behaviour, it had commenced improving in its trackwork and its final 2 gallops in preparations

When asked to comment on the performance, rider M Philpott reported despite the horse racing wide in the early and middle stages of the event, when placed under pressure from the 500m ALL JEED UP failed to respond to her riding and was disappointing, adding that she was of the opinion that the horse was not suited by today’s firm track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
