Versace Miss  Tightened for room and lost ground on jumping away between ANGEL OF LIBERTY, which shifted out, and PEQUENINOS , which was taken in by MIDNIGHT OIL, which began awkwardly and shifted in. Aerojet  Raced extremely wide without cover throughout. Inconvenienced when bumped by another runner near the 700m. D. Griffin reported that his mount did not handle the rain-affected track.  Doomben  17/06/2015 
Bella Song  Inclined to lay in approaching the first turn. When questioned regarding performance of the filly jockey stated that his mount began awkwardly and settled in a handy position. T. Bell added that his mount was under pressure to maintain its position from the 600m and was disappointing in
its run to the line. When questioned, trainer Mr M. Dunn stated that he intended to add blinkers to the filly's official race gear next start in the hope it will settle further forward and become more focussed. A post race veterinary examination
of the filly did not reveal any abnormality.

Forgotten Years  Passing the 150m had to be steadied away from the heels of Sacred Journey (G Buckley) which shifted out slightly under pressure after being taken out by Busting Through. G Buckley was advised to exercise more care. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be mildly lame in the off fore leg. Stable representative E Cummings was advised that prior to Forgotten
Years racing again a veterinary certificate of fitness must be produced.

Lead the Way  Rider questioned regarding the performance of gelding, reported that it hung in from 300 metres, was unable to be fully tested and had to be eased from the heels of CREDITABLE near the 100 metres. Post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was exhibiting signs of mildly tying up behind.  Rockhampton  20/06/2015

Tazi Arazi  When questioned regarding the improved performance, stable representative Ms M. Phillips informed stewards that the gelding had been disappointing at its most recent starts, however today felt that the gelding had improved with fitness and also benefitted with the addition of the cross-over noseband and that the gelding was able to dictate terms by leading in today's event. Stewards noted the explanation.

Oh My Rocket  Inquiry re riding tactics. Rider stated that she was mindful of the wide position she was in, however her instructions were that once getting to the 800m to ride forward from that point. She added that leaving the 1000m she attempted to settle the horse but was forced wider when SAVVY GIRL, which tended to overrace, shifted out, forcing her wider. She added whilst acknowleding she was racing wide she was mindful of her instructions and rode the horse accordingly. Trainer confirmed the instructions as he felt the horse raced better when ridden in that manner. Explanation noted.  Beaudesert  20/06/2015
