Incnovenienced passing the 400m. The gelding, which was resuming after a 6 week break from racing following a southern campaign, performed below market expectations. Jockey R McMahon advised the gelding, which raced wide for the majority had felt flat today. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer J Morris, who was at a loss to explain the disappointing effort, undertook to report to Stewards should anything which may have had a bearing on today’s performance become apparent in coming days.
