Slow to begin and trailed the field and finished a distant last. Jockey J. Lloyd reported that the horse did not travel comfortably and when asked for an effort shortened stride. Due to his concerns with the horse's action he did not pressure the mare over the final 500m and as a result it finished a distant last. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Stewards advised connections that the horse would be required to trial satisfactorily prior to racing again.
