Smith stated in her opinion the gelding was not comfortable having its first start clockwise going and would be better suited on a bigger track. She further added the horse may be looking for a longer distance than that of today’s event. Trainer J. Manzelmann agreed with Ms Smith’s comments and will look to step the horse up in distance in the near future.
