Became awkward near the 400m and dipped noticeably. Rider reported that from this point the gelding never travelled comfortably and felt short its action on returning to scale. A post-race Veterinary Inspection failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer reported that the horse had pulled up well in the days following the event and as such he will continue with the gelding's current preparation.

After being loaded broke through the barriers and galloped a short distance before being restrained. Upon returning to the barriers was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed suitable to race. Shifted in under pressure in the home straight.
