Princess Mavi  Questioned re tactics - rider stated not given any specific instructions but his intention was to take up position just off speed with cover. When caught wide early elected to press forward to the lead. Mare then commenced to over-race. Trainer confirmed no specific instructions issued and would review today's performance before determining best pattern of racing as was only having second start for stable. Billy Goat  Rider questioned re her riding of the horse which raced in the four wide position for the majority of the race. She advised that her instructions were to take an easy lead if possible however if it was not possible to take a sit behind the leaders and work home from the 600m. She added that she attempted to lead but at the turn out of the straight the horse was three wide and unable to cross and therefore she was forced to race outside the two leaders in a three horse field.
