Strawberry Boy  When questioned regarding the tactics adopted from the 600m, rider J Cassidy stated that after travelling relatively well at a suitable tempo in front, he felt on passing the 600m his mount, which was being urged along at that point, would be better suited in what he considered to be
better footing approximately four horses away from the inside. He added that in his opinion Strawberry
Boy's run ended which he attributed to it missing a run at the Hawkesbury race meeting on Saturday 2
May 2015 which was abandoned after Race 1.

Freezelightning  Rider reported at scale the gelding was under pressure leaving the 500m and was only able to finish the race off fairly. Rider further added that the gelding was better suited when ridden more quietly further back in the field. Trainer agreed with the comments and added that in his opinion the gelding was not suited by the slow tempo in the early and middle stages.  Gold Coast  29/04/2015

Master of Arts (NZ)  At the 1300m checked to avoid the heels of Kawabata, which was being steadied when racing tight to the inside of Snow Secret (NZ) which laid in. Taken out off its course upon
straightening by Snow Secret (NZ) which in turn had been taken out by Show A Star (Vlad Duric).

Payroll  Slow to begin. When questioned as to why the filly raced as far back today its rider Michael Cahill reported the filly was slow into stride and he was then caught in a position outside the heels of Bob
Of The Head (NZ) which was not taking him into the race in the early stages and he therefore elected to take a sit behind that gelding and ride with cover until rounding the home turn, where he added the filly then laid out and made the turn awkwardly.

Princess Charm  Questioned re: improved performance stable noted the filly was having its second race start. At its first start the filly, after being slow to begin, suffered interference during the early stages which contributed to its disappointing performance. Stable added that the filly began well today and was able to travel comfortably in a midfield position, which with the addition of blinkers contributed to the improved performance.  Gold Coast  9/05/2015

Rather Heroic  Commenced to overrace passing the winning post on the first occasion, and threw its head in the air on a number of occasions and continued to overrace in the middle stages. Jockey B. Callow, the rider of AWESOME ROCK, reported, in his opinion, the colt over-reached during the event and he became concerned with its action and for that reason did not persevere with his riding over the concluding stages. AWESOME ROCK was examined by the Club's Veterinary Surgeon who reported no visible abnormalities.

Silent Whisper  At the entrance to the straight SILENT WHISPER (J. Holder) became held up for clear running when racing on the heels of BURGUNDY BLAST (C. Lindop) until in the vicinity of the 300 metres when it was obliged to shift out to obtain clear running.
