Shez Ektraordinary (NZ)  Jockey M. Cahill explained he had been instructed to ride his mount a little more aggressively in a position near midfield. He added that shortly after the start he endeavoured to ride the filly in accordance with instructions, however was concerned he may be caught wider than he should and therefore made the decision to ride hard in the early stages to cross to a position outside the lead at the first turn.

Lonhie Rocks  When asked to comment on the performance, rider B. Grylls advised that from the wide barrier she intended to progress forward but the gelding was unable to must sufficient speed and was obliged to take up a trailing position at the tail of the field. She added that, in her opinion, her mount did not finish the race off well as anticipated and hung in under pressure in the home straight.   Sunshine Coast  3/06/2015 
Lord Chamberlain (NZ)  Slow to begin and despite the efforts of its rider trailed the field for the majority of the race. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities at the time of examination. Questioned re: disappointing performance - trainer noted gelding is better suited over further distances but was still dissapointed as gelding had pleased him in a trial leading into the race. Reported that gelding pulled up well after the race and blood tests had failed to reveal any abnormalities. Would step gelding up in distance next start. Marlene Adele  Near the 300m steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of MANTECADO. Laid out over the concluding stages. Jockey M Hellyer reported that his intention was to take up a position closer to the speed today, however, after being slow to begin he elected to obtain a position with cover towards the rear of the field so as not to be caught wide.  Gold Coast  30/05/2015

Luna Tune  When questioned regarding the mare racing further forward, rider stated he was instructed to ride his mount in a midfield position.Rider explained that when his mount began fairly he rode it along in which it
responded stronger than he expected. M. Dolendo stated that his mount settled in
handy position, where it raced comfortably and sprinted strongly to the line. When
question regarding tactics trainer stated it was the mares second start
for his stable. Mr Randall added that at the mares most recent start it raced worse
than midfield from a wide barrier.

Tribal Art  Jumped away awkwardly. Laid out rounding the home turn. Inquiry re performance and tactics adopted on the horse. Rider J. Lloyd indicated that his intentions had been to be in a forward position however when the horse began awkwardly he was obliged to take up a trailing position behind BUKEKAYO. He indicated that he was forced to steady further when inconvenienced when racing to the inside of FORTINI and this caused him to lose further ground. He felt however that the horse improved well into the race rounding the home turn and was doing its best work over the concluding stages.   Sunshine Coast  29/05/2015

Babur  Rider R Fradd reported he felt his mount went amiss inside the final 100m.
A post race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no abnormalities. Trainer
Mr M Wilson subsequently reported that the gelding had pulled up fine and showed
no apparent signs of soreness following light work and advised his intentions to
continue on with the gelding's preparations

Freezethemillions  Inconvenienced leaving the 200m.Rider B. Grylls indicated that when her horse was being replated behind the barriers it started to sweat up badly and this may have had an effect on its overall performance. She added however that the horse travelled well until the home straight, however when asked for an effort proved disappointing. She added that the filly was somewhat inconvenienced by another runner near the 300m, however she did not feel this had a significant effect on its performance. Great Inagua  Commenced to overrace approaching the 1000m and improved onto the heels of MEZZANOTTE, which was being restrained in an attempt to obtain cover. As a result of this, GREAT INAGUA raced very ungenerously, shifted in and made contact with SMASHER. Continued to overrace until approaching the 800m.   Sunshine Coast  3/06/2015
