Borehole  When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding apprentice N. Masuda stated that his mount failed to travel comfortably on the soft track conditions and failed to let down in the straight. When questioned, trainer Ms S. Lawlor stated she was at a loss to explain the performance and she had expected a forward showing. Ms Lawlor added that the geldings form indicates that it does not appreciate soft track conditions and performs better on larger circuits than that today. Jewellery Thief  Stewards asked jockey G. Goold to comment on the performance of the horse. He indicated that the filly enjoyed a favourable run and upon entering the home straight was afforded clear running and, in his opinion, was disappointing in the run to the line. Larebil  Jumped away awkwardly and then overraced with its head in the air in the early stages before being permitted to stride forward on the outside of the field and raced wide for the remainder of the race. Trainer D. Bougoure was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding's racing manners, and he indicated to stewards that in light of today's performance he would experiment with the horse's gear in an attempt to have the horse settle in its race.   Sunshine Coast  29/05/2015

Toldyaso  When questioned regarding the performance, jockey B. Pengelly stated that, in his opinion, the gelding was not comfortable in today's heavy track conditions, and this, together with the 59 kilogram impost, were telling factors in the horse's overall performance. He added that, in his opinion, the gelding would benefit from today's race. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.   Sunshine Coast  13/06/2015 
Water Boy (NZ)  Jumped away awkwardly and made contact with another runner. Had to be steadied when forced to race in restricted room near the 1300m. Raced wide for the majority of the race. Jockey R. Wiggins reported that he would like to have obtained a position midfield, however the horse was inconvenienced by another runner shortly after the start and could not muster sufficient speed to remain in a midfield position and as a result settled near the tail of the field. True Royal  When the pace steadied near the 900m, had to be restrained from heels when overracing. Perfect Punch  Jockey questioned re riding tactics approaching and rounding the home turn whereby he shifted from the running rail wider on the track enabling BUDGET BENDER to obtain a run to his inside. Jockey explained horse commenced to lay out after passing the 600m and continued to shift out despite his efforts. Jockey added that in hindsight it would have been a better option to change his whip to his left hand to assist him in maintaining a position on the rail.
