Jet Down On It  Reared up in the barriers prior to the start inspected and cleared to start.B Appo pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding, in allowing his mount to shift out under pressure over the final stages, which resulted in ELIMINATOR being tightened for room, which further resulted in jockey R. Wiggins having to take hold of ELIMINATOR and lose his rightful running and ground at this point. Apprentice Appo was suspended from riding in races for a period covered by 6 meetings, from midnight, 21 August, the conclusion of a previously incurred suspension, and to expire at midnight, 30 August.   Sunshine Coast  5/08/2015 
Kudero  Connections advised that Kudero will be ridden more forward from the inside barrier. Subsequently settled in a handy position. Shifted out after leaving the 800m. Jockey M. Cahill reported at scale his mount refused to settle in the middle stages.

Mount Kosciuszko  When questioned re seemingly improved performance trainer B. Costello stated the gelding had previously performed well in stronger company however, had tapered off in form at the end of its previous campaign.
