Invinciboy  Approaching the 300m steadied away from the heels of MARVEL CREATION and again near the 100m steadied from the heels of LADY SOLERNO which shifted in. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey M Hellyer stated that the gelding travelled comfortably during the early and middle stages but was reluctant to improve between runners when asked to improve passing the 400m. Jockey Hellyer was of the opinion that the gelding would be better suited when able to improve to the outside of runners and also when stepped up over further distances.   Gold Coast  13/02/2016 
Itz Alrite  Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped. Had to be steadied away from heels after leaving the 600m. Inquiry re tactics adopted near the 100m. Jockey Browne stated he was instructed o make ground outside as the horse was held up inside close to the rail previously. He added whilst his mount was inclined to hang in slightly, he tried follow instructions and improve to the outside of the heels near the 100m. He said in hindsight he may have erred by doing this and should have improved to the inside of ROYAL HUSSY. He added it raced greenly throughout. Meteorologist  Connections advised the horse would be ridden in a more forward position if circumstances permit. Tangent  Momentarily forced to steady to avoid the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Held up for clear running passing the 200m. Forced to steady when placed in restricted room approaching the 50m when attempting the same run as another runner and went to the line without being fully tested.
