Hampered approaching the 250m. When questioned re performance, rider stated, in his opinion, the mare raced flat today second up from its second placing at this track a fortnight ago. He added in the middle stages he restrained his mount in order to assist the mare run out the 1200m, however, this may not have been to the mare's advantage and was disappointing when placed under pressure in the straight. A post-race vet exam did not reveal any abnormalities. Trainer Mr Ryan reported will be freshened up and undertook to report back on the progress of the mare subsequent to the race. |
