Shoreham Raced very keenly in the early stages of the event and passing the winning post on the first occasion was checked from heels for a considerable distance. Toowoomba 08/04/2017
I Feel Good Eased out of the event near the 300m. Sunshine Coast 09/04/2017
Qabla Near 1500m had to be steadied when tightened by WALTZ IN FLIGHT and lost ground. Trainer questioned re seemingly improved performance -stated gelding performed poorly last start after suffering heavy interference near 500m. Noted pleased by gelding’s run 2 starts ago when only beaten 3.3 lengths over the unsuitable distance of 1350m. Added gelding generally performed well at Gold Coast over 1800m and as such hopeful of a forward showing today. Gold Coast 08/04/2017

Craiglea Velvet Slow to begin, then was heavily bumped by another runner, which shifted out, losing ground. Townsville 04/04/2017
Cooroi Chase Raced wide throughout. The veterinary surgeon reported that the filly was suffering heat stress following the event. Doomben 01/04/2017
Girl in a Million Rider questioned re tactics and overall performance. He said after being fractious in the barriers the filly led the event without being overly pressured. He said after RUBY RED HEART crossed to his outside, the filly was under pressure and approaching the home turn he felt he was on a beaten horse. He believed the horse made an abnormal respiratory noise during the event. Tnr could offer no excuse for the disappointing performance but would consider adding a tongue tie to the horse’s gear. El Campeador Bounded on jumping and then shortly after was crowded. Rdr advised after gelding began awkwardly, it settled a little further back than anticipated. Added never trav at any stage from the 600m and failed to respond to his riding and did not finish its race off. Post race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Canterbury Park 11/11/2016
Say You Love Me Hampered near 200m. When quest re perf. rdr stated mount travelled strongly early & middle stages & he was confident app h/turn. Rdr added when leader, which enjoyed moderate tempo, sprinted his mount was unable to sprint with it, under topweight on heavy track. Rdr added mount felt reluctant to let down on heavy track. Tnr stated mare has performed well on soft tracks & he was confident. Tnr added mare races best around larger racing circuits than that today. Murwillumbah 03/01/2017

Ringo's a Rockstar Shifted out abruptly on jumping away and lost ground. Apprentice B. Ainsworth reported at scale that after being slow to begin it was her intention to race to race in a forward position however she was unable to restrain the gelding. Doomben 11/02/2017

Too Good to Refuse Shifted in near the 1400m and made contact with another runner. Lost the off hind plate in running. Doomben 01/04/2017

Cantbuybetter Raced wide throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Toowoomba 08/04/2017

Craiglea Wandoo A little slow to begin. When questioned regarding the horse's performance, apprentice Z. White stated that her mount overraced in the early stages and leaving the 800m was able to balance up and at the 500m, when placed under pressure, did not sprint or respond to her riding and was disappointing. Trainer K. Johnston explained that she had concerns with the timing between runs and the fitness of the horse going into today's engagement and was of the opinion that the horse would derive benefit from the run. Bound for Love Hampered when tightened for room shortly after the start. Bumped on the hind quarters and turned inwards approaching the 1200m. Rider questioned regarding performance and reason for easing horse in home straight. Refer Stewards Report. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings apart from a laceration inside the off fore cannon. Mr Edmonds was advised that if there was anything amiss with the mare on return to his stables he should inform stewards otherwise the mare will have to trial. Eagle Farm 04/03/2017

Binary Steadied near the 1600m and again near the 1500m when awkwardly placed at the heels of HEART STEALER which shifted in. When questioned regarding the performance, Jockey J Taylor stated that despite suffering interference in the early stages the gelding travelled comfortably throughout and commenced to improve into the race as expected passing the 500m. However, the gelding peaked on its run leaving the 300m and in his opinion was disappointing. Jockey Taylor was of the opinion that the gelding may have come to the end of its preparation. Trainer confirmed gelding will be spelled. Gold Coast 26/11/2016
