When qst re racing in a fwd pos, rdr std at GCoast when successful on 13/1/18 mount jumped well & was able to take up fwd pos & whilst intention was to be in a mid pos today, when mount commenced well again, elected to take up a more fwd pos. Added although caught wide early stages mount was able to obt cover where it trav comf. Trn conf intention was to have geld ridden conservatively, however, can race somewhat keenly in its races & having regard to manner in which it began today, was not dissatisfied with the pos of geld in today's race.

Throghout the e/s mount did not trav strongly & for this reason allowed rnr to X, however resulted in racing frth back then inten. Fthr added making h/t, he contemplated shifting to rnrs outside, but when another rnr gave ground he cont to follow first rnr. As a conseq could not test mount when held up on heels until the 150m, whereby he shifted to the inside of that rnr & the mare found line strongly. Rdr was adv should have made more effort to hold pos.
