Cheers was issued a reprimand for failing to advise that with a moderate tempo expected in the event the gelding would be ridden further forward today (AR135A) A post race veterinary examination of the gelding, which was beaten 24.6L, revealed it to have a poor recovery. Trainer Mr P. Cheers was advised that a warning would be placed on the competitiveness of the gelding.
