Angelican  When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, H. Bowman stated the gelding travelled well in the run, and after he shifted to the outside of Falklands, his mount did not respond as he expected, and in his view, its action did not feel right. A post race veterinary
examination of Angelican did not reveal any abnormalities. Trainer representative, Mr J. Cummings, stated that Angelican had a particularly hard run at its last start at Canterbury on 11 January, and in his view, may still be feeling the effects of that run.  		Canterbury  8/02/2013 
Dinky Destiny  A post race veterinary examination of the gelding, which raced wide in the early and middle stages and was beaten 28.7L, did not reveal any abnormality. Trainer Mrs C.
