When questioned regarding the performance, Apprentice Panya agreed that the gelding was disappointing and stated that, in her opinion, the horse races best when it is able to gain a more forward position than in today’s event. Apprentice Panya also stated that the horse is better suited when racing over longer distances than today’s event. Trainer P. Duff agreed with Apprentice Panya’s comments. Stewards noted the explanations provided.
