Star of Night  Overraced when attempting to secure cover in the early stages. Rider K. Masuda advised that from the wide alley he had been instructed to take up a position at the tail of the field with cover. He was able to fulfil these instructions and was asked to position the horse wider on the track to obtain an uninterrupted run to the finish.
