A post race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion to the off hind pastern and a poor post-race recovery. |

Schmidt indicated she had been asked to ride the horse quietly as it was having its first start back from a spell.She added she was obliged to race further back than anticipated after receiving pressure from another runner at the start.She added that she rode the horse forward from the 500m and was obliged to alter course back to the inside in order to secure clear running near the 200m, and that approaching the 100m was obliged to steady when placed in restricted room by another runner. She indicated that,the horse finished the race off well and would appreciate a step up in distance. |
