Wiggins explained that after beginning well he elected to ride forward from the wide barrier in an attempt to gain a handy position with cover. However after passing the 1100m, the gelding commenced to overrace and despite his efforts he was unable to get the gelding to settle and as a result raced outside the leader, CHARGE ACCOUNT. Twisted Mountain  Questioned as to tactics - rider stated instructed to lead and that the gelding had performed best when ridden in the lead. Added that in early stages AMERICAN SPIRIT persisted in maintaining a position to the inside requiring him to make more use of the gelding than he would have liked which resulted in a quick tempo being set in the early stages. Old Tex  Dislodged rider during prelim quicly captured, vetted and cleared to start. Questioned re tactics - rider stated instruct to ride out of barriers to take up forward position. Not intention to lead but when placed outside leader in early stages elected to press forward to cross to the fence. Questioned re improved performance - trainer stated had performed well when ridden in a similar manner 3 starts back and had appreciated step up in distance from last start.  Gold Coast  11/07/2015

Classroom Destiny  Raced greenly in early stages and near 950m shifted in and bumped another runner. Then overraced for some distance and near 800m had to be checked from heels. Post race vet found gelding to have been galloped on the near hind.  Grafton  8/07/2015 
Comic Story  Rider reported it was not his intention to lead however when trapped wide early he elected to push forward to sit outside the leader but was then unable to resrain the colt and as a result it over-raced for some distance.  Gold Coast  10/01/2015 
Generate (NZ)  Raced greenly in the early stages of the race and shifted out, inconveniencing another runner and raced greenly in the home straight, causing interference to another runner whilst weakening. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to have a slower than normal post race recovery. A warning was placed on the horse regarding its racing manners.  Sunshine Coast  4/07/2015

Around the Moon  Eased near 200m. Questioned re: performance - rider stated gelding was more agitated during prelim compared to last start. Settled further forward today as a result of step up in distance and overraced in early stages. Gelding didn't tavel comfortably at any stage and failed to sprint in straight. In rider's opinion gelding failed to handle short back up. Trainer noted second occasion gelding had failed to handle quick back up. Gelding pulled up with some debris in near side eye which would be treated but post race vet exam failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.  Grafton  9/07/2015 
Chophouse Tears  Slow to begin. Jockey B. Looker reported that it was not his intention to lead today however, when caught wide in the early stages he allowed the filly to stride forward.  Gold Coast  4/07/2015

Outback Carlson  Was checked badly near the 400m when racing to the inside of ZOUAVES, which shifted in whilst hanging in badly despite the efforts of its rider. Captain Fastbuck  Stewards questioned the rider regarding the tactics adopted, Rider stated he had no specific instructions other than to ride the horse where it was comfortable, as he had formed the view that it was more advantageous to settle in a forward position on today's track he elected to ride forward in the early stages. Rider added that when challenged in the middle stages he was reluctant to surrender the lead as he was travelling comfortably and he was satisfied with the tempo being set. The explanation was noted, Trainer was reminded to notify stewards of any tactic changes in the future  Ipswich  15/07/2015

Game Thief  Shifted out to improve approaching the 600m and made heavy contact with another runner. Apprentice L. Dittman was asked to comment on the performance. He indicated he pressured the horse from the 600m which was earlier than he wanted due to the leader gaining a significant advantage. He felt that approaching the home turn the horse was travelling well, however proved disappointing in the straight and changed stride on a number of occasions after passing the 300m.   Sunshine Coast  8/07/2015
