Ms Heinrich noted that on that occasion the horse was first up from a spell and she was of the view that it would derive some fitness benefit from that run. He stated that it was always his intention to race in a forward position either outside the leader or with a trail behind the leaders, however after beginning reasonably well, he was unable to cross runners to his inside and as a result he eased to took a trailing position. The explanation was noted.   |

Senglea Sun  | A post race veterinary examination of SENGLEA SUN revealed the gelding to be sore in both front fetlocks. Trainer A. Willick advised that SENGLEA SUN will now be sent for a spell. Ms Willick was advised that the gelding must compete in an official barrier trial and a veterinary report on treatment undertaken and a certificate of fitness must be produced prior to it racing again.   |

She's a Danica  | Inquiry re tactics adopted, where after it appeared there was opportunity to settle early outside the leader he then improved and led the race, setting a strong tempo. Rider J. Lloyd said he would have preferred to settle outside the leader, but the mare overraced and did not settle, so he strode forward in an attempt to have it settle but it refused to do so.
