Bogenhuber stated that she was placing her mount under pressure at that point, however A LADYS COMPLIMENT improved to her inside and due to that runner travelling better than her was able to push out and obtain clear running. Party Till Dawn  Raced wide throughout. When questioned as to the horse's seemingly improved performance, trainer G. Heinrich noted that from a wide barrier at its last start it raced further back in the field than expected and then peaked on its run over the final 200m. Ms Heinrich noted that on that occasion the horse was first up from a spell and she was of the view that it would derive some fitness benefit from that run. The Lynches  Questioned as to performance - rider stated obliged to race wide for majority but gelding failed to travel comfortably at any stage and was dissapointing. Trainer unable to explain performance as gelding had worked well and impressed him in an unofficial trial leading into the event. Post race vet - slow recovery rate. Trainer subsequently reported that gelding had since worked and trialled well without noseroll and toungue tie and as such this gear would be removed.  Gold Coast  1/08/2015

Belegic  A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be coughing. Trainer reported that an endoscopic examination of the horse followng the race failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer added that horse had since worked well and was hopefull of an improved showing.  Doomben  8/08/2015 
Eliminator  Slow to begin. Held up for clear running after passing the 500m and until near the 300m. Had to be checked over the concluding stages.   Sunshine Coast  5/08/2015 
Gully Command  Had to be restrained from heels near the 600m. Jockey was questioned regarding the tactics he adopted in the early stages. He stated that it was always his intention to race in a forward position either outside the leader or with a trail behind the leaders, however after beginning reasonably well, he was unable to cross runners to his inside and as a result he eased to took a trailing position. The explanation was noted.

Senglea Sun  A post race veterinary examination of SENGLEA SUN revealed the gelding to be sore in both front fetlocks. Trainer A. Willick advised that SENGLEA SUN will now be sent for a spell. Ms Willick was advised that the gelding must compete in an official barrier trial and a veterinary report on treatment undertaken and a certificate of fitness must be produced prior to it racing again.

She's a Danica  Inquiry re tactics adopted, where after it appeared there was opportunity to settle early outside the leader he then improved and led the race, setting a strong tempo. Rider J. Lloyd said he would have preferred to settle outside the leader, but the mare overraced and did not settle, so he strode forward in an attempt to have it settle but it refused to do so. He added the trainer would now remove the blinkers from its gear. The trainer confirmed he would removed the blinkers.  Sunshine Coast  5/08/2015

Water Boy (NZ)  When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey A Spinks stated that he was forced to place the gelding under pressure earlier than expected. Jockey Spinks added that the gelding then laid in under pressure during the home straight and in his opinion the 59kg impost today may have had a detrimental effect on the gelding's performance.  Gold Coast  8/08/2015
