Drinking Cocktails  On returning to scale S. Bogenhuber advised that her mount travelled comfortably throughout the event, however when placed under pressure in the home straight proved disappointing. Trainer K. Jolie Madeleine  Shifted the near hind plate in transit. As the farrier was unable to replate the horse, stewards acceded to a request by trainer C. Cousins to remove the offside plate and for the horse to race without plates behind. A public announcement was made to this effect. Blatant  Jockey J. Lloyd reported that the gelding raced flat and did not appreciate the quick back up. Vetted - no significant abnormalities.  Doomben  19/09/2015 
Delvaux  Began awkwardly and bumped another runner. When questioned as to the performance, Jockey A Allen stated that the mare was forced to race in restricted room from the 600m to the 300m which prevented him from improving his position. For this reason he was not overly disappointed with the mare's finishing effort. When questioned if there was an opportunity to improve his position when the tempo slowed leaving the 800m Jockey Allen stated that he was specifically instructed to provide the mare with cover until rounding the home turn as it had performed best when ridden in this manner.   Gold Coast  26/09/2015
