Flinders Deagon  J. Lloyd reported at scale that over the concluding stages of the race his mount put in a number of awkward strides. Trainer P. Duff advised that he will have veterinary tests carried out in coming days and undertook to report to stewards any findings which may have had an effect on the horse's performance. Near the City  Apprentice R. Payne reported that she had been instructed to try to ride the horse in a more forward position, however after receiving minor interference in the early stages, she was obliges to steady and take up a trailing position on the fence worse than midfield and she then had some difficulty obtaining clear running over the concluding stages.  Sunshine Coast  4/10/2015

Credit Only  Stewards afforded J. Missen the opportunity to comment on the performance. He stated that after having a comfortable run throughout and travelling strong up to a point near the 600m, the gelding failed to respond to his riding and proved disappointing in its finishing effort. Trainer S. Barling advised that he was expecting a forward showing today, although he was not surprised given the gelding's inconsistent form, however he was still disappointed with the gelding's performance. I'm Alone  When questioned as to the performance, Jockey D Griffin stated that the gelding had to be ridden vigorously during the early stages to obtain a forward position.
