Red Selenium  Rider D. Griffin reported that the horse tired over the concluding stages, which may have been as a result of it getting its tongue over the bit. Stewards ordered that a veterinary examination be conducted on the colt, however this was unable to be carried out as the horse had left the course. Trainer J. McLachlan was reminded of his obligations to ensure that his runners remain on course for the prescribed period following an event. Mr McLachlan indicated that he may experiment with the addition of a tongue tie to the horse's gear at its next start.  Sunshine Coast  22/11/2015

Desert Harry  Approaching first turn shifted out abruptly to avoid heels and ran wider on the track. Questioned re performance - trainer stated gelding was back in distance from previous start and raced dour. Wasn't suited by srong temp in the event and better wuited be able to dictate terms in a forward position. Trainer advised gedling would be freshened up before next start. Whatalovelyday  Taken wider by another runner on the home turn. When questioned regarding the performance, jockey M. Cahill stated that the mare travelled well in the early and middle stages of the race however rounding the home turn was bumped by another runner, after which the mare was immediately under pressure and proved disappointing.  Ipswich  25/11/2015

Dashley Dubh  Trainer T. Whittington reported the gelding may have been shin sore following the race, in which case it would go for a spell. Mr Whittington will confirm his intentions after reassessing the gelding in the days subsequent to the race.  Gold Coast  30/08/2015

Flinders Peak  Rider said after beginning well she crossed to the lead, however was mindful of instructions to try to obtain cover. She said that when AUDREE improved to her outside she was content to let that horse cross her, which would have afforded her cover. She said when she elected to do this she then became aware that SKYLAR'S STAR, which was racing 3 wide, improved forward, and having elected to allow AUDREE to cross, she was then placed further back than she wished when AUDREE allowed SKYLAR'S STAR to cross to the lead.  Ipswich  1/07/2015

Tactician  Raced wide for the majority of the race. When asked to comment on the performance, apprentice J. Orman indicated he had been instructed to attempt to take up a trailing position behind the leaders, however from the wide alley and the horse having its first start in blinkers, he unable to do so and was caught wide. Longchamp Belle  Over-raced through the early and middle stages. Passing the 600m checked by its rider when awkwardly placed close to the heels of Ravens Fire. Marshal  Trainer reported that gelding had pulled up stiff in the neck and hindquarters following the race and has subsequently responded well to chiropractic treatment. Trainer was of the view that this explained gelding's failure to finish off the race as expected.  Sunshine Coast  20/11/2015

Special Jay  Questioned re performance, Jockey stated despite travelling well in the early and middle stages, failed to respond when placed under pressure leaving 600m. Of the view gelding failed to handle today's soft conditions. Jockey Galloway noted gelding had been disappointing in a trial leading into today's race in similar conditions. Trainer D Kelly confirmed Jockey Galloway's comments. Post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities at the time of examination. Trainer subsequently reported that horse had trialled well on a good track with the addition of blinkers.   Gold Coast  26/09/2015
