Here's to Luxury  When asked to explain the horse's performance, rider J. Lloyd stated that the gelding had a tendency to hang out throughout the race and never travelled comfortably at any stage and when placed under pressure in the home straight failed to run on and in his view was very disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed mild lameness in the off foreleg, and a swab sample was taken. Trainer M. Dunn reported that the horse would now be sent for a spell. Mr Dunn was advised that he must produce a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to its next start.  Ipswich  24/07/2015

Theopoly  Rider stated he was instructed to put the horse in a forward position, however after urging his mount forward out of the barriers, it did not muster speed and, in his view, was not comfortable in the rain affected conditions. He added that from the 600m, the horse hung in, causing him to put the whip in his right hand shortly after entering the home straight. Despite this, the gelding continued to lay in under pressure and was doing its best work over the concluding stages.   Sunshine Coast  31/01/2016 
Woobinda Keepa  Made contact with the outside fence when entering the track and then was reluctant to proceed to the barriers. Underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers which cleared the mare suitable to race. Trainer T. Cotsiopoulos was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare's pre race manners. Old Tex  Dislodged rider during prelim quicly captured, vetted and cleared to start. Questioned re tactics - rider stated instruct to ride out of barriers to take up forward position. Not intention to lead but when placed outside leader in early stages elected to press forward to cross to the fence. Questioned re improved performance - trainer stated had performed well when ridden in a similar manner 3 starts back and had appreciated step up in distance from last start.  Gold Coast  11/07/2015

Gentleman Jack  Shifted out when weakening soon after straightening. Questioned riding tactics adopted early and middle stages rider explained he was instructed to ride the gelding where it was comfortable and was advised not to overly restrain horse as it has resented this in the past. Rider added he was unable to obtain cover leaving the 1000m and soon afterward the pace steadied and GENTLEMAN JACK commenced to overrace and for this reason he allowed the horse to stride forward. Rich Reward  When questioned apprentice rider advised stewards that after beginning well she elected to restrain her mount after being caught wide in the early stages of the event to a position closer to the rails in a rearward position, which was in accordance with its established racing pattern. She added she was satisfied with her position throughout the event as she was trailing the eventual winner, however when it improved into the race near the 600m she was unable to quicken with that horse and, in her opinion, the mare raced somewhat flat today.  Toowoomba  31/12/2015 
Right to Roam  Overraced approaching and passing 1000m. Questioned re: performance - rider stated mount travelled well early and middle stages however when placed under pressure rounding home turn failed to sprint strongly and was dissapointing. Horse appears to race best fresh and did not appreciate quick back up. Trainer agreed with comments of rider and advised horse would now be sent for a spell.  Ballina  4/10/2015
