Shannonbrook Miss  When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of the filly trainer Mr S. Phelps stated that the filly had shown limited ability in its first preparation and was subsequently spelled to give it the opportunity to mature. Mr Phelps added that whilst the mare had developed physically its work had been only average and he was not confident of its chances today. Mr Phelps added the fact the filly was able to lead the event, uncontested, against a poor quality field where to its benefit today.  Casino  27/05/2016

Sagamama  Slow to begin. When questioned regarding the horse's performance, rider J. Stanley stated that his mount raced greenly in the early and middle stages and rounding the home turn became unbalanced. He added that after being placed under pressure and shifting out and obtaining clear running in the home straight, the horse found the line strongly.  Ipswich  19/12/2015 
Snitziola  began awkwardly. At scale App M Schrapel reported the gelding was inclined to hang out at various stages of the event. A post race vet examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
FAST TRACK - checked at start when another runner jumped outwards. Near the 900 metres App S Lacey was struck in the face by a clod of dirt placing her at a distinct disadvantage and being unable to ride her mount competitively for the remainder of the event
