Alpine King Raced wide without cover throughout. Rider asked to comment re performance of ALPINE KING - explained when racing wide the gelding raced very greenly and will take benefit from the experience of today’s race. Lost a near hind plate in running. Gold Coast 11/02/2017
Miss Cochise Restrained from the heels of CRAIGLEA PATIENCE near the 500m. Held up for clear running in the early part of the home straight. Gold Coast 11/02/2017

Iron Craft Was standing awkwardly and blundered badly on jumping away and shifted out abruptly, almost dislodging its rider. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Eagle Farm 08/02/2017

Rosebery Affair Obliged to steady from heels after leaving the 900m when the pace slackened. Sunshine Coast 10/02/2017
Kitti Ping When questioned as to the performance, Jockey D Griffin stated that he was able to cross the runners drawn to his inside and take up a prominent position in the early stages without applying too much pressure after which the mare travelled comfortably in the middle stages. However, when placed under pressure rounding the home turn the mare failed to respond to his riding and was most disappointing today. Jockey Griffin was of the opinion that the mare may have come to the end of its preparation. Trainer A Willick confirmed that the mare would be sent for an immediate spell. Gold Coast 01/11/2016

Pandora's Tale Began awkwardly and shifted in, bumping another runner. Raced greenly and overraced when in a trailing position rounding the turn at the 900m, having to be steadied away from heels, and then raced three wide for the remainder of the event. Ipswich 09/02/2017

Fast Arrow T. Harrison reported that it had not been her intention to race in a forward position, however when the pace was very slow in the early stages and she was caught wide, she elected to allow the gelding to stride forward to a position outside the lead passing the 1300m. Biagiotti When questioned re performance. Rider stated his mount settled in a forward position as expected and travelled strongly in the early stages. Stated his mount was under pressure to hold its position from the 800m and was disappointing. Also stated he was of the opinion his mount did not appreciate being pressured for the lead in the middle stages and gave up when that runner established the lead. Added his mount best form is on rain affected going. Trainer agreed. A post race vet exam did not reveal any abnormality Murwillumbah 07/02/2017
