Magic Love Raced 4 wide without cover throughout. When questioned as to the performance, Jockey N Day stated that from the wide barrier he was obliged to race extremely wide throughout. Bo Rossa Had to steady away from heels passing the 1200m when momentarily tightened by SEQUASI, which was taken in by SCREAMING IMPULSE. Ipswich 04/08/2017
I Can't See Who Overraced after passing the 900m and as a result shifted wider near the 700m to avoid heels and raced 3 wide without cover from that point onwards. Sunshine Coast 09/08/2017

Real Elusive To be ridden further forward; settled back. Rider reported that his mount began very awkwardly, shifted out, bumped another runner and as a consequence he momentarily lost the use of his nearside iron resulting in him settling further back than intended. Newcastle 15/07/2017

Velleity Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as the horse was racing first up after twelve months, and was passed fit to start. On return to scale, jockey K. Yoshida advised that as the horse was first up from a significant spell it would derive a significant fitness benefit from tonight’s run and, in his opinion, would also be suited by the addition of blinkers. Lighthouse Keeper Raced wide during the early and middle stages before being allowed to stride forward to settle outside the lead near the 1000m. Rounding the home turn steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of ROBBERS COBBER. Gold Coast 05/08/2017

Bound for Love Hampered when tightened for room shortly after the start. Bumped on the hind quarters and turned inwards approaching the 1200m. Rider questioned regarding performance and reason for easing horse in home straight. Refer Stewards Report. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings apart from a laceration inside the off fore cannon. Mr Edmonds was advised that if there was anything amiss with the mare on return to his stables he should inform stewards otherwise the mare will have to trial. Eagle Farm 04/03/2017

Magic Panther Passing the 600m hampered by DALLINGER which shifted out to improve. During the early stages of the home straight had difficulty securing clear running to the outside of DALLINGER which was inclined to lay out. When questioned as to the performance, Jockey L Rolls stated that he was not entirely disappointed with the geldings performance. Jockey Rolls was of the view that the gelding would be better suited over further distances and was not suited by todays pattern of racing. Gold Coast 05/08/2017
