Perilous Love Raced wide without cover. Doomben 28/10/2017
Show Command Trainer and jockey Stanley questioned regarding jockey's riding of the gelding approaching and rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight. Of particular concern to stewards was the amount of vigour used by jockey Stanley at that stage of the event. Refer Stewards Report. Stewards noted the explanations of both parties, however nonetheless advised jockey Stanley to at all times ride in a manner which is competitive and not to leave himself open to question. Blossom Overraced when the pace slackened approaching the first turn. Raced awkwardly at heels during the middle stages. Sunshine Coast 22/10/2017
Cedar Falls Overraced in the early and middle stages, and had to be steadied away from heels on a number of occasions. Toowoomba 28/10/2017
Nashville Skyline Lost ground at start after being bumped by EXCEED ALL ODDS. Unable to improve between 700m and 500m. Rider questioned re performance - reported after being hampered at start obliged to race further back in the field than anticipated. Added after securing clear running rounding the home turn filly finished race off fairly and in his opinion would be better suited when racing over further distances. Gold Coast 17/05/2017

Strada Grande Attempted to put its head down as the start was effected and lost considerable ground. Hampered shortly after the start when BOOM BOY shifted in. Held up rounding the home turn. Ipswich 01/11/2017

Joel Bumped heavily shortly after the start by BOOM BOY and became unbalanced. Ipswich 01/11/2017
Mr Boombastic commenced awkwardly and then steadied. carried wide around home turn by another runner. Seymour 07/09/2017
Murray River Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground. Bumped near the 900m. Gold Coast 22/04/2017

Daresay Began awkwardly and was then bumped buy another runner. Trainer L. Wheeler reported following the event that the filly had pulled up shin sore in both forelegs Ipswich 23/06/2017
Who Am I Slow to begin Gatton 27/10/2017
Instantaneous Wanted to hang out approaching the final turn. M. Hellyer reported at scale that his mount overraced throughout the event. Kilcoy 03/11/2017
 
Race 4
Dazzle Em Sid Slow to begin. Raced 3 wide in the early stages, and was then forced 4 wide passing the 700m when the runners to the horses inside shifted out to improve. Tired over the concluding stages after travelling wide, and as a result tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer M. Kropp undertook to advise Stewards should any abnormalities come to light in the coming days which may explain todays performance. Toowoomba 28/10/2017

Rocky Halo began very awkwardly resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced and losing ground at the start. Beaudesert 04/11/2017
You Es Commander Raced wide in the early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be showing symptoms of having jarred up on the firm track conditions. Grafton 31/10/2017
Island Sunset Held up between the 500m and 300m.. Hung in noticeably over the final 250m. Apprentice N. Keal reported his mount returned to scale with blood in its mouth.. Apprentice Keal was advised in future to ensure that he maintains a true line in the run to the finish.. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the horse regarding its racing manners. Gatton 27/10/2017
Letter of Charm Bumped rounding the home turn. Raced in restricted room at the entrance to the straight. Eased when tightened for room approaching the 300m. Approaching the 200m was obliged to ease and shift in around heels to continue to improve. Grafton 31/10/2017

Cushy Number Became unbalanced and lost ground near the 300m when placed in restricted room between ONE MANSINI, which shifted out, and AD FINEM, which shifted in under pressure. J. Morris, the rider of AD FINEM, was reprimanded for this incident and advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. Stewards were satisfied that in this incident the manner in which CUSHY NUMBER reacted to the incident had a bearing on the interference suffered. Sunshine Coast 29/10/2017

Conquers All Jumped awkwardly and shifted in. Overraced badly early stages and near 800m shifted out taking CALL THE COPPERS wider. Near 250m disappointed for a run between OUR BOY BEN and CALL THE COPPERS, which shifted out slightly. Gold Coast 28/10/2017
Diamonds On Ruby Trainer questioned re improved performance - explained mare was immature at its first preparation and was confident of a forward showing today and it had won a trial recently. Gold Coast 28/10/2017

Northern Revenge Had a tendency to lay in near the 400m. Raced 4 wide without cover throughout.. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities Gatton 27/10/2017

Godwood A post race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be lame in the off hind leg. Vet cert required PTNS. Murwillumbah 25/08/2017
