Squall Near 500m severely checked when tightened for room by RAZZY, which hung in badly despite the efforts of its rider. Gold Coast 22/08/2018
Miss Blumenthal When qst re disap perf, rdr std, after obt lead in early stages, mount then trav too keenly & attributed this to manner in which it commenced to weaken over the final 200m. Added, despite his efforts in the early & middle stages, he was unable to rate mount in an endeavour to trav in a more even tempo & believed race exprerience will benefit the filly. Pride of Destiny Commenced to hang out after passing the 650m and continued to do so until the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the off foreleg. Trainer L. Gough was advised that the horse will require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again. Mr Gough indicated that the horse would be sent for a spell. Beaudesert 13/04/2018

Coastal Prince Held up for clear running and obliged to shift wider approaching the home turn. Ipswich 24/08/2018
Grand Alibi – Placed in restricted room by STRIKING DISTANCE near the 900m and had to be steadied and made contact with the running rail. Jockey M. McGillivray, rider of STRIKING DISTANCE, was reprimanded and advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. Sunshine Coast 05/08/2018

The Palms Near the 250 had to be checked, clipping the heels of SHE GOES BOOM and blundered. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Ipswich 29/08/2018

Clickety Clicks Overraced near the 700m, and had to be steadied after improving onto heels. Toowoomba 02/09/2018
Etikaal Slow to begin. Slow to muster speed during the early stages. Passing the 800m improved onto the heels of GUNNARR and was steadied. Raced greenly throughout. Approaching the winning post was eased when awkwardly placed inside the heels of THE KINGDOM. Gold Coast 01/09/2018
Silentus Slow to begin. Jockey B. Pengelly was reminded of his obligations regarding whip use. In taking no further action, stewards took into account the totality of whip use. Rockhampton 30/08/2018

Hot Choice Had to be steadied near the 800m when placed in restricted room between CLOSE ENOUGH and AMARYLISS, which shifted in. Lost the off fore plate in running. When questioned as to the horse’s seemingly improved performance, trainer B. Smith stated that the filly did not appreciate the soft conditions at its last start. Mr Smith noted that its last start was 5 weeks ago as he had been forced to scratch the filly on a number of occasions to avoid wet tracks. Mr Smith added that the filly was also suited today by the drop back in distance to 1200m from a good barrier. Beaudesert 07/04/2018

Too Easy Bro Trainer advised that the gelding was to be ridden off the speed today. Jockey Allen reported that he attempted to restrain the gelding in the early stages to comply with his instructions. When unable to obtain cover he allowed it to cross forward of runners to his inside to obtain a position closer to the fence with the intention of then handing up the lead to obtain cover.
