Rdr stated when caught wide early he eased back to a posn worse than midfield to ride to inst. Rdr stated that his mount travelled comfortably in middle stages & went to the line fairly. Rdr stated mount may be better suited settling in a prominent posn over a longer journey. Rdr added mount still physically immature. P/R vet exam found no ab's.

When afforded the opportunity to comment on the performance, Jockey L. Dittman stated that the filly failed to travel comfortably throughout the event and proved disappointing. Co-Trainer B. Guy expressed his disappointment in the performance and indicated that he would experiment with a barrier blanket in an attempt to rectify the fillys barrier manners. He also noted that the filly may be better suited when able to improve to the outside of runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities other than minor lacerations to the near hind hock.
