Prior to declaring correct weight Stwds viewed the patrol films to ascertain if there were grounds for a protest when it was identified that it & eventual winner had brushed near the 150m. Stwds were satisfied that the slight contact was due to both rnrs shifting ground & declined to lodge a protest on the basis there was not sufficient grounds to do so. Rdr reported that after improving to the outside of rnr in the early part of the straight his mnt was inclined to lay in.
