When questioned by Stewards regarding the performance, Apprentice M. Schrapel reported that after beginning awkwardly his mount had to be steadied from heels which resulted in the horse settling further back in the field than he anticipated. Stewards noted the explanation. |

Hilton could offer no tangible explanation for the disappointing performance tonight, however he undertook to advise Stewards should anything come to light in the coming days regarding the horses post-race recovery. |
