Commenced to lose ground from the 400m when laying out and was not placed under pressure in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Jockey and trainer comments i.e full report. Follow up vet revealed shin splints vet cert required.

App added mount did take a large breath whilst pulling up giving her the impression it may have held its breath. P/R vet no ab's.

He added that the gelding was aided by having drawn well and being able to begin well and settle a little closer to the speed as in its previous starts, the gelding has not been beginning well. He further added that the gelding’s best performances had been on heavy tracks. Stewards noted the explanation.
